The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Ludwiczak made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bartlomiej Raschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Raschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Galena Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Zakrzewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zenon Ludwiczak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateusz Kornecki was the one to do the kick off. When Galena Kielce's Mateusz Kornecki in 51 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonathan Ferrant guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tymoteusz Wolski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateusz Kornecki went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Zenon Ludwiczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mateusz Kornecki sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Mikolaj Laskowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Borczak came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateusz Kornecki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-4 in the 80 minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Galena Kielce's Wincent Borczak made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateusz Kornecki in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wincent Borczak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Wincent Borczak slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 91st minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
