Stasio Kajder had several of the Chile's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Thiago Pliego as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peyo Menendez saved Inter Porteño from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Inter Porteño's Claudio Ado got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 宋光威. Stasio Kajder kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Stasio Kajder made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peyo Menendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter Porteño's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Francisco Carballar to score against Peyo Menendez in Inter Porteño's goal. 2-1 after 30 minutes. Peyo Menendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Inter Porteño's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Peyo Menendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peyo Menendez having to make a save. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 宋光威 made a kick off. Guillermo Fontirroig managed to trick Inter Porteño's defense and made a shot which however Peyo Menendez didn't slip through. A nice save in the 58thth minute. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Kajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Peyo Menendez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 61st minute. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peyo Menendez could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peyo Menendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peyo Menendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peyo Menendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter Porteño's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
