An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 6th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Victor Ologu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Aelenei, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Aelenei came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Victor Ologu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ologu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Cornel Manciulea got a free kick in the 14th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nichifor Aelenei sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 28th minute, Raureni Academy's Cornel Manciulea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Alan Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Aelenei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Nichifor Aelenei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nichifor Aelenei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nichifor Aelenei made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Aelenei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Victor Ologu had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jaime Pardo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cornel Manciulea fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raureni Academy's protests and gave Cornel Manciulea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Manciulea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Aelenei in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Paraguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Raureni Academy had won, even though Paraguay had held more of the ball.
