After 8 minutes Futbolin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Futbolin's Albi Campoamor managed to reach the ball for a save. Futbolin's Albi Campoamor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albi Campoamor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 36th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Lucila Beloki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucila Beloki 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Guilabertus Carceles charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guilabertus Carceles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Futbolin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilabertus Carceles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The Futbolin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Albi Campoamor made a huge save. Futbolin's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastia Dagora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Vincente Quintas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Futbolin got a freekick which was hit by Guilabertus Carceles. The Futbolin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
