Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Coryn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoud Van Gestel in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 20 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. When Bob Leerbels came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Bacardi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Leerbels couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bacardi FC's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Dauwen came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Coryn came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Bacardi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bob Leerbels in the 36th minute. Charlie Vercalsteren was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 39 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Leo Dauwen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roni Coryn scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roni Coryn in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roni Coryn in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Bacardi FC from getting a goal against them. In the 68th match minute, Bacardi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roni Coryn to maneuver through the defense. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Cornelis Rondas replaced Roy Voet. After a rather tough play, Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Coryn came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leo Dauwen. That made the score 2-2 after 85 minutes of play. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
