An unexpectedly hard shot by Guo Ke Peng in the 14th minute of play forced Moose Knuckles's goalkeeper Li Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Kingpins's Chris Lindstrøm to fire away a dangerous shot which Li Lin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Li Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guo Ke Peng in the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Guo Ke Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Moose Knuckles made a substitution. Vecdet Baştürk replaced Jedrzej Beninda. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ove Ahlström hit a great ball. Rickard Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Li Lin made a huge save. Vecdet Baştürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Leblanc having to interfere. A collision led to Moose Knuckles getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Raimundo Joinvilense hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Lundgren got free with Li Lin in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Moose Knuckles's Li Lin got control of the ball when Rickard Lundgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brendan Leblanc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vecdet Baştürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Moose Knuckles's zone, Guo Ke Peng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Li Lin came out of the goal and Guo Ke Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moose Knuckles's Bernardas Eidintas was substituted for Venancio Nardo. Kingpins made a substitution. Bo Kruuse replaced Rickard Lundgren. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Trulsson during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Moose Knuckles a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vecdet Baştürk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kingpins's Brendan Leblanc. 1-3. When Karol Jandryca fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moose Knuckles's protests and gave Karol Jandryca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Karol Jandryca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Kruuse took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Li Lin. Li Lin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.
