After a rather tough play, Rústicos FC's Nazario Huici got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Rústicos FC's Nazario Huici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazario Huici in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Pranas Užkuraitis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Raggio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes Rústicos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Vasconcelos who took care of the corner kick. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazario Huici in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Horacio Mero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rústicos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalhão do Peçanha the free kick. In the 39th minute, Horacio Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Dito Mandrak put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Petr Čech.

A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Ondino Gamarra with Jermaine Pennant as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice moves Nazario Huici could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Petr Čech however easily saved by the left post. Horacio Mero kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batalhão do Peçanha's Pranas Užkuraitis got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Rústicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jermaine Pennant. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Dito Mandrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rústicos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Batalhão do Peçanha's Vânderson Vasconcelos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ondino Gamarra in the 70 minute of the game. Nazario Huici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Pranas Užkuraitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 88th minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Pranas Užkuraitis notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Rústicos FC's Arturo Raggio. Arturo Raggio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Epaminondas Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ondino Gamarra hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Rústicos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
