Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Man Tas in the 16th minute of play. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Man Tas in the 22nd minute of play. Dany-Adams De Scheper took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Elizardo. Tobias Elizardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Juarês Salles hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Rogelio Lynch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Lynch in the 34th minute of play. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Internazionale-RS from getting a goal against them. Tobias Elizardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Lynch's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Stefan Neubrandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Man Tas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Herrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Internazionale-RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Herrero scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Neubrandt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
