With a couple of smart ball manuevers İskender Baki Sabi in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Quirino saved América-SC F.C. from getting behind. İskender Baki Sabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nestor Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of América-SC F.C. booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Mehmet Arif Evvel got a free kick in the 14th minute. Olavo Henriques was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabi Gol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. İskender Baki Sabi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Quirino having to make a save. Nestor Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İskender Baki Sabi in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Gabi Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Henriques came out of the goal and Gabi Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Joaquin Uxio got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Racing Club's İskender Baki Sabi in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye América-SC F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. When Gabi Gol came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the América-SC F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabi Gol couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Gol came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabi Gol in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olavo Henriques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when İskender Baki Sabi came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İskender Baki Sabi in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to América-SC F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jerônimo Pimenta hit a great ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquim Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, İskender Baki Sabi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino. Nestor Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İskender Baki Sabi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Racing Club booed when América-SC F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olavo Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Racing Club made a substitution. George Orwel replaced İskender Baki Sabi. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Mattos in the 66th minute of play. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Orwel in the 68th minute of the match. Nestor Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Orwel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Mattos in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th play minute George Orwel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nestor Quirino. 1-2. Nestor Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but George Orwel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. After 89 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Uxio. Olavo Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xamo Melic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Elder Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The América-SC F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Racing Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Racing Club.
