The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edvaldo Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Edvaldo Tande came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol. But to his dismay, Gabi Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute Gabi Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Urbano came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Gol came free, but Edvaldo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabi Gol took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Tande. Edvaldo Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino got control of the ball when Tanek Dziechciowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Elder Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mor Šego's shot from long distance in the 37th minute was not bad at all, but América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fabiano Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Socanelas FC's protests and gave Fabiano Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Socanelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Socanelas FC's Fabiano Moreira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Téo Cordeiro, made in the 91st minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kobe Haaland to maneuver through the defense. The Socanelas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching América-SC F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for América-SC F.C..
