In the 15th minute, Isidro Oliviero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbudos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Omar Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macedonio Fonticoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Verheydt to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Töpper, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Juan Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 55th minute of the match. Isidro Oliviero scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Chayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barbudos FC made a substitution. Gareth Bala replaced Marcial Claris. After 63 minutes, Dé Töpper mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vampiros Aztecas and the Barbudos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dé Töpper kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Vampiros Aztecas's Omar Abadia threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Hernandez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Beccari in the 92nd minute of play forced Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Juan Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Evans. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barbudos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vampiros Aztecas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
