Arturo Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macedonio Fonticoba in the 7th minute of the match. Arturo Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Töpper, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Töpper in the 10th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Arturo Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amancio Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Vampiros Aztecas's Rolf Weyand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Guib made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 86th minute Rolf Weyand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolf Weyand kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Guib. That made the score 1-6 in the 91 minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Zabaleta's Fazıl Hüsnü Şahin got a free kick in the 94th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, 武 曹操 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vampiros Aztecas's supporters crossed their fingers, but 武 曹操 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vampiros Aztecas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
