The audience thought a goal was coming when Stan Wawrinka got free with Jem Burger in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Alain Berset ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jem Burger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Marco Odermatt kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingo Minder to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Waldemar Spychalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregor Kobel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldemar Spychalski went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Spychalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute Waldemar Spychalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, PAIDAGOGOS's Waldemar Spychalski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregor Kobel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Alain Berset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Debkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Spychalski to make the kick off. The PAIDAGOGOS fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when PAIDAGOGOS's Boleslaw Debkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lenny Rubin hit a great ball. Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez was substituted for Alain Berset. After 76 minutes, Rogelio Montez made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. PAIDAGOGOS's Jem Burger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rogelio Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Stan Wawrinka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jem Burger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Montez went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Rogelio Montez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espen Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-4. Rogelio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jem Burger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Montez in the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, PAIDAGOGOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Debkowski to maneuver through the defense. Jem Burger came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez. But to his dismay, Rogelio Montez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-4. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Espen Steelers had won after a very even match.
