In the 4th minute, Koča Kafarov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulla Baia in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match, Abdulla Baia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute Koča Kafarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when DREAM TEAM WORLD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Grantham didn't get a good kick on the ball. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng got control of the ball when Jedrzej Kiszkiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after FC Ouagadougou National's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fabiano Castro took the corner. The corner led to DREAM TEAM WORLD's Jonathan Otto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 33 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Koča Kafarov came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Rômulo Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rômulo Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Vereijt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute of the match Luiz Fabiano Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Vereijt skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kiszkiel came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lu Zhen Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 44th minute. When Koča Kafarov came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koča Kafarov couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdulla Baia was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergen Şahbender to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as DREAM TEAM WORLD's Koča Kafarov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rene Vereijt. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. In the 58th minute, Sergen Şahbender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulla Baia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lu Zhen Sheng having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulla Baia came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Ştefan Grigore replaced Koča Kafarov. In the 67th minute, Abdulla Baia made a precise shot to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. DREAM TEAM WORLD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Robert Justus replaced Hamza Yavaş. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Zachariasz Psotka replaced Jonathan Otto. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Paulo Jon was substituted for Elpidio Curcio. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulla Baia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Grigore in the 77th minute of play. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Grigore, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Abdulla Baia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC Ouagadougou National's Abdulla Baia in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 91st minute Abdulla Baia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Ouagadougou National's Dani Rojas was substituted for Jedrzej Kiszkiel. After 96 minutes DREAM TEAM WORLD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dani Rojas who took care of the corner kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DREAM TEAM WORLD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
