With 3 minutes on the clock, Ate Kloppenburg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Underdogs! The Underdogs:s Jan Wessel showed great skill when he stopped Héctor Adomaitis:s penalty. In the 4th minute, Héctor Adomaitis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Wessel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Héctor Adomaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Andrzej Zapolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jan Wessel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrzej Zapolski went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Andrzej Zapolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jan Wessel made a huge save. Andrzej Zapolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Wessel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Zapolski ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Zapolski. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Wessel was a little too slow when Andrzej Zapolski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Koča Kafarov replaced Andrzej Zapolski. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piearres Olalla to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Frank de Boer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piearres Olalla in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute The Underdogs were awarded a corner. Iustin Hațegan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to The Underdogs's Ed Palsma getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Zachariasz Psotka was substituted for Héctor Adomaitis. In the 75th minute, Koča Kafarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Wessel was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 80 minutes of play, The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lu Zhen Sheng was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 86th play minutes Iustin Hațegan shot 6-2, a short shot which went by Lu Zhen Sheng and just under the crossbar into goal. 97 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Koča Kafarov came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, DREAM TEAM WORLD could leave the field as winners, despite The Underdogs having more of the ball for most of the match.
