In the 5th minute Karlus Waugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 范斌邦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 范斌邦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 6th minute of play. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 范斌邦 having to interfere. After 10 played minutes 新世纪俱乐部 got a freekick which was hit by 郝振扬. 12 minutes into the match, 新世纪俱乐部's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but 范斌邦 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 范斌邦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarell Hill in the 22nd minute of play forced 新世纪俱乐部's goalkeeper 范斌邦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Romon Oliver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jamaica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 范斌邦 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 26th minute of the match. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when 许松冰 scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 1-1. Jamaall Padmore hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when 龙邦威 came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leron Sale hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamaall Padmore during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of 新世纪俱乐部 booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamaall Padmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 许松冰 to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Javan Develder in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 新世纪俱乐部's 马辰德. With a little luck, 新世纪俱乐部's 范斌邦 got control of the ball when Jarell Hill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Geroy Ascue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karlus Waugh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but 范斌邦 made a huge save. If Romon Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, 新世纪俱乐部's 范斌邦 got control of the ball when Finlay Stair tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jamaica's Leron Sale was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 范斌邦 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Finlay Stair was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
