When Ecuador's Agustín Saelices in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BraveHeart Warriors's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 21 in the game by Kamil Baycan from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when BraveHeart Warriors's Kamil Baycan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Diguinho Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henry in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Thierry Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Thierry Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Kamil Baycan sent off a good shot on target. Diguinho Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thierry Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Kamil Baycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Oliveira having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kamil Baycan made the kick off in the second half. When BraveHeart Warriors's Kamil Baycan in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuno Sabóia was slow to take the kick. During this time BraveHeart Warriors's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Kamil Baycan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuno Sabóia was slow to take the kick. During this time BraveHeart Warriors's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Alexander Isaak. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BraveHeart Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BraveHeart Warriors's Diguinho Oliveira. Diguinho Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BraveHeart Warriors's Diguinho Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save BraveHeart Warriors from getting a goal against them. In the 77th match minute, BraveHeart Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Andino in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When BraveHeart Warriors's Kamil Baycan in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The BraveHeart Warriors fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when BraveHeart Warriors's Kamil Baycan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Baycan in the 85th minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by BraveHeart Warriors's Kamil Baycan. But to his dismay, Kamil Baycan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to BraveHeart Warriors getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Severino Paraíba hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, BraveHeart Warriors could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
