Betinho de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Charlie Grantham got a free kick in the 14th minute. Lu Zhen Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Lu Zhen Sheng in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Andrzej Zapolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zapolski came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Alonso Berganza threw the ball into play from the sideline. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Mendez Urquizu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Moises Gayoso in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Betinho de Queirós. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Koča Kafarov replaced Andrzej Zapolski. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 64th minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. Koča Kafarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Koča Kafarov notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koča Kafarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koča Kafarov went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 97th minute of the game was made by Mendez Urquizu with Charlie Grantham as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Chants of DREAM TEAM WORLD echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Peru had held the ball for most of the match.
