Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Conrado Mano kicked off to start the match. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Tiburcio Atarrabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14th minute of the match Pascual Urbes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascual Urbes was slow to take the kick. During this time Bar-Met FC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Bar-Met FC's Aureliano Montrel got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes in the game Ernesto Nataniel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Conrado Mano. After 25 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play forced Bar-Met FC's goalkeeper Ignacy Dziedziak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Guillermo Mariano came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Mariano couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Atarrabi in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Bar-Met FC's Ignacy Dziedziak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of play. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Bar-Met FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Atarrabi in the 58th minute of the match. Santo Socorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Socorro ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ignacy Dziedziak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tiburcio Atarrabi scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Atarrabi's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bar-Met FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Bar-Met FC's goalkeeper Ignacy Dziedziak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Ignacy Dziedziak made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Ignacy Dziedziak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute. A collision led to Bar-Met FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ambrosio Lehoi hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes Bar-Met FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Precioso. Ignacy Dziedziak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 98th minute of the match. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
