Lu Zhen Sheng came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, Andrzej Zapolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Lu Zhen Sheng stood somewhat misplaced when Cassius Byrne came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 51 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koča Kafarov in the 87th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Campbell could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Lu Zhen Sheng however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalid Parry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lu Zhen Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 94th minute of the match. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
