Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertan Duman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gottfrid Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Ray Atkins got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gottfrid Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ! Ertan Duman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. If Ertan Duman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 48th minute of play forced ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Gottfrid Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertan Duman in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Atkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ray Atkins hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Besim Vecdet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gottfrid Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Besim Vecdet. But to his dismay, Besim Vecdet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ made a substitution. Cao Jun Yan replaced Oliver Bogren. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gottfrid Hedström made a huge save. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Besim Vecdet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Alcocer in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Yu Ting. A collision led to ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pavlos Belesis hit a great ball. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
