An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
