Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the game, Theodore Martyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Sixsense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho da Silva to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Sixsense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Stalker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sixsense FC's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaute Fjellanger came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 76th minute of play forced Sixsense FC's goalkeeper Gaute Fjellanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theodore Martyn in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Gaute Fjellanger made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 88 minutes, Theodore Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sixsense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodore Martyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Theodore Martyn came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
