An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 9th minute of play forced NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Frank Di Giandomenico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to NewDip F.C. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dino Coletti hit a great ball. Frank Di Giandomenico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Bracco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Fulvio Piermattei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Di Giandomenico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 27th minute of play forced NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Frank Di Giandomenico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Frank Di Giandomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 35th minute of play. Fabio Nobili kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, NewDip F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Frank Di Giandomenico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo De Marchi in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. Armando Guadagnoli kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frank Di Giandomenico. NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th match minute, NewDip F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo De Marchi to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, NewDip F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Frank Di Giandomenico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Fabio Nobili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, NewDip F.C.'s Biagio Fortunato got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Edmondo Bracco charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmondo Bracco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Panama booed when NewDip F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Coletti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Frank Di Giandomenico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of NewDip F.C.'s Frank Di Giandomenico. Frank Di Giandomenico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
