Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, BK Ugglan's Henric Granberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Thomas Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Ugglan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Henk Van Linthout tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Henk Van Linthout capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henk Van Linthout really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 25th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Dong Ting Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Per Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Fagrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henk Van Linthout succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 35th playminute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Kråk in the 38th minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Fagrell having to make a save. Patrik Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as BK Ugglan's Henk Van Linthout slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-1 after 41 minutes of play. Henk Van Linthout could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Sundberg made a kick off. Henk Van Linthout kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Jim Kråk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Van Linthout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Henk Van Linthout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Van Linthout in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Kråk came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Kråk struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Ugglan. BK Ugglan made a substitution. Wiktor Anselius replaced Henk Van Linthout. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Kråk in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Kråk in the 93rd minute of the match. If Thomas Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Sundberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BK Ugglan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
