Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tivadar Sörös in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tamás Bencsik during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nimród Vére's goalkeeper Krisztián Sydbøge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nimród Vére's Tivadar Sörös got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nimród Vére's Elemér Dragóner got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bendegúz Ördög in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Bendegúz Ördög put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 40th minute Bendegúz Ördög shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nimród Vére's Vendel Bíró got a free kick in the 41st minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ede Edelényi in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tivadar Sörös who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tivadar Sörös almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. In the 64th minute, Tivadar Sörös made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 72 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 86th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Vadas to maneuver through the defense. When Alexander Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alexander Carballo a yellow card for diving instead.
