After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Jonathan Ferrant had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Dong Ting Fan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Dong Ting Fan scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by BK Ugglan's Dong Ting Fan, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Adam Christoffersson with Jim Kråk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Thomas Sundberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 46 played minutes BK Ugglan got a freekick which was hit by Henric Granberg. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Sundberg to make the kick off. Thomas Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Van Linthout in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, BK Ugglan's Henk Van Linthout nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jim Kråk went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Henk Van Linthout left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Ugglan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jim Kråk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Thomas Sundberg put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jim Kråk struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Ugglan. The audience was convinced that Wiktor Anselius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The supporters of Venezuela booed when BK Ugglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Granberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BK Ugglan.
