Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Josué Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Özdemir Özgenc. Gümüşhane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gümüşhane's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Gümüşhane booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gümüşhane's Berke Çetin got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ergincan Sarı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Dante Lacasa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Mexico booed when Gümüşhane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berke Çetin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özdemir Özgenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Özdemir Özgenc came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özdemir Özgenc having to interfere. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Özdemir Özgenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Özgenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gümüşhane's Özdemir Özgenc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of play. Özdemir Özgenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. Özdemir Özgenc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gümüşhane's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. If Ergincan Sarı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özdemir Özgenc having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Gümüşhane got a freekick which was hit by Ergincan Sarı. Özdemir Özgenc was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-5. Özdemir Özgenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özdemir Özgenc was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play forced Gümüşhane's goalkeeper Özdemir Özgenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gümüşhane booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Berke Çetin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
