Ahmet Kadri Arkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şentürk Uzlet to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Şentürk Uzlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 54th minute of play forced EdirnE ÇeltiK's goalkeeper Ahmet Kadri Arkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Garrido charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EdirnE ÇeltiK's goalie prevented a goal. Ahmet Kadri Arkan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EdirnE ÇeltiK throughout the match.
