Şentürk Uzlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Ahmet Kadri Arkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Yavuz Selim Isfahanlı charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yavuz Selim Isfahanlı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, EdirnE ÇeltiK's Yavuz Selim Isfahanlı got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Garrido in the 35th minute of play forced EdirnE ÇeltiK's goalkeeper Ahmet Kadri Arkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ahmet Kadri Arkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Kadri Arkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Panama's Abraham Alguacil in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EdirnE ÇeltiK's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Şentürk Uzlet made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şentürk Uzlet in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 played minutes EdirnE ÇeltiK got a freekick which was hit by İsmet Coşkun. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şentürk Uzlet in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emre Coşkun in the 69th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Kadri Arkan. Abraham Alguacil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cem Coşkun during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, EdirnE ÇeltiK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cem Coşkun to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, EdirnE ÇeltiK's Ahmet Kadri Arkan got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match Panama got a corner. EdirnE ÇeltiK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Panama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
