The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Juskowiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Andrashida's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Aydemir Okyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Though ot was a great shot Andrashida's keeper Aydemir Okyar was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 60th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Aydemir Okyar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Juskowiak in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aydemir Okyar. Aydemir Okyar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aydemir Okyar in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute of the match Andrashida got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Torsten Alin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Torsten Alin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Juskowiak in the 79th minute of the match. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Aydemir Okyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Juskowiak in the 90th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Andrzej Juskowiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Andrzej Juskowiak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andrashida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick.
