The referee showed Alonso Berganza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 14 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğitcan İstanbullu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Luiz Fabiano Lima sent off a good shot on target. Eliézer Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Eliézer Ramos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliézer Ramos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yiğitcan İstanbullu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luiz Fabiano Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Luiz Fabiano Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano Lima made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Grandis's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Pedro Grandis put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yiğitcan İstanbullu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Kauan Cunha in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anderson Carioca, made in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Rafael Gallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yiğitcan İstanbullu. The goal made the score 2-1. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Grandis came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Grandis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rafael Gallo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jurassic Monsters SA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
