Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Torsten Forsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Sjödin in the 8th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Sjödin in the 11th minute of play. Egon Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Sergej Bártů showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Bantayan BK's Viggo Hellsing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Hellsing in the 31st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Juan Rubio put in a rough tackle. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Bantayan BK's Viggo Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 41st minute of play forced Bantayan BK's goalkeeper Sergej Bártů to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bantayan BK's Karl Friberger suffered a concussion after 42 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Bantayan BK's Melker Dalgren was substituted for Karl Friberger. In the 42nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Sjödin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Bantayan BK got a freekick which was hit by Egon Hääger. Stig Sjödin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Sjödin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Stig Sjödin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Bantayan BK's Torsten Forsell. But to his dismay, Torsten Forsell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Stig Sjödin sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 79 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Sjödin came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Viggo Hellsing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Stig Sjödin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Wikander in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Sjödin in the 89th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Bantayan BK were the better team. Bantayan BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
