Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 5th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Wei in the 9th minute of play. Brent-Jan Kindermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Xu Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Angel Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xu Wei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Justo Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Xacintu. Carhue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Angel Xacintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Brent-Jan Kindermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brent-Jan Kindermans to make the kick off. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Xacintu having to make a save. Carhue made a substitution. Charles De Ketelaere replaced Brent-Jan Kindermans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles De Ketelaere in the 60th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles De Ketelaere scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carhue's Angel Xacintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Carhue from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Wei in the 88th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Xu Wei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
