Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 罗挺树, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Viktor Ödmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play forced Wonderkids's goalkeeper Didi Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Wonderkids booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Wonderkids got a freekick which was hit by Svetozar Petrusevski. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Didi Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mexico booed when Wonderkids was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Eroğul didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Didi Dionísio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wonderkids's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Borys Trac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Dionísio having to interfere. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Wonderkids getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jânio Batista hit a great ball. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Didi Dionísio. Wonderkids's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 45 played minutes Joel Gaona shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio to catch but Joel Gaona was lucky. It became 0-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Borys Trac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game 罗挺树 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Didi Dionísio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iwo Rakowicz who took care of the corner kick. In the 69th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Wonderkids's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio did a great save. Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Wonderkids defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Dionísio. The Wonderkids fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Dionísio should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 96th minute. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
