Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juliano Álvarez started the match with the kick off. Jorge Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of the match. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Juliano Álvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Burni took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jorge Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Burni's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Anastasio Burni sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliano Álvarez. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Marin went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jorge Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Burni, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

RIVER PINAMAR fc's Jorge Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER PINAMAR fc from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Jorge Cutberto in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Cutberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 64th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Marin in the 68th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jorge Cutberto made a huge save. After a rather tough play, RIVER PINAMAR fc's Leon Benet got a free kick in the 79th minute. 88 minutes into the match, RIVER PINAMAR fc's goalkeeper Jorge Cutberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by RIVER PINAMAR fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Jorge Cutberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there!
