Stipe Pletikosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Harun Mengüer came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Gierasik got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Harun Mengüer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harun Mengüer in the 36th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st play minute Roberto Nirvana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Pliego. 2-5. After having played for 75 minutes, Gustaw Niewiadomski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Fortuna 86 Szczecin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stipe Pletikosa should have stopped the shot. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stipe Pletikosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-5. In the 87th minute, Roberto Nirvana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-6. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaw Niewiadomski.
