The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atlético da Colina's Hílton Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Set Master got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hílton Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Atlético da Colina's Set Master dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hílton Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético da Colina's Gu Xiong Bang was substituted for Denílson Schmidt. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Set Master in the 52nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hílton Dias. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Set Master's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Atlético da Colina's Cristiano Carrasqueira was substituted for Lucas Moura. Atlético da Colina's Diego Souza was substituted for Justo Lukach. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Tom Demange with Cristiano Carrasqueira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 70th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Mastache received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hílton Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Ignacio Mastache slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Hílton Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Souza in the 82nd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abram Secada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hílton Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Abram Secada slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 88th minute. Diego Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Diego Souza made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
