The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandros Valsamis. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Thalis Kominatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thalis Kominatos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes of play, MindHead FC's Thalis Kominatos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Sotiris Kardaris got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandros Valsamis during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, MindHead FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Valsamis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, MindHead FC's Thalis Kominatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thalis Kominatos in the 39th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thalis Kominatos's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, MindHead FC's Alexandros Valsamis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Kominatos in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Kostas Mouras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Thalis Kominatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostas Mouras hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 played minutes MindHead FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Valsamis. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolis Nomikos having to make a save. Tolis Nomikos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute of play forced MindHead FC's goalkeeper Tolis Nomikos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Kominatos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tolis Nomikos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MindHead FC's Tolis Nomikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by MindHead FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Salvador Gisbert was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 96 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Tatsis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that MindHead FC were the better team. MindHead FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
