When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mădălin Geamănu during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xerxes Doro during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xerxes Doro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
