Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Gervasi in the 24th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dale Dolar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. If Dale Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Bünyamin Başel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 45 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Ugutz saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind.

Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Alberto Tafalla, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Patricio Ugutz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Patricio Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Patricio Ugutz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Zorita's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abelardo Veloso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Amerigo Gervasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Amerigo Gervasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro was substituted for Tião Paraíba. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Leonardo Leoz got a free kick in the 84th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 86th minute of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Carrascal went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
