In the 21stth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Kujebáci's Jan Mazáč was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FK Kujebáci's Damián Petráček slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdislav Janoš during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, FK Kujebáci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdislav Janoš to maneuver through the defense. Damián Petráček recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Vendelín Vošický sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball.

In the 52nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FK Kujebáci booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jan Mazáč tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Lukáš Vomáčka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Mazáč showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jan Mazáč showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. FK Kujebáci's André Halfar was substituted for Bohumil Koukal. In the 85th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FK Kujebáci were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Costa Rica to leave the ground with a draw.
