With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Damazy Gabis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roman Gizynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Nagły Atak Spawacza booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Gallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
