Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ramiro FC's Sebastián Cebreiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 卓乐迪 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Sebastián Cebreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Cebreiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastián Cebreiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. 卓乐迪 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Cebreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Sebastián Cebreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Cebreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Ramiro FC's Oliver Bierhoff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 卓乐迪 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. 卓乐迪 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Ramiro FC made a substitution. 魏荣 replaced Gilberto Playo. In the 41st minute, Oliver Bierhoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Oliver Bierhoff made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Felix Montes put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ramiro FC:s goal. The Ramiro FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
