Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Deportivo el Divague's Diego Fe got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Wei Chao Yi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo el Divague getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mauricio Orain hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wei Chao Yi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Deportivo el Divague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Gombal to maneuver through the defense. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wei Chao Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wei Chao Yi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wei Chao Yi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced Deportivo el Divague's goalkeeper Wei Chao Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo el Divague's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wei Chao Yi came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Chao Yi having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Diego Fe sent off a good shot on target. Wei Chao Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Hermengildo Txanton took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of play forced Deportivo el Divague's goalkeeper Wei Chao Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Deportivo el Divague's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andrei Ačas kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Wei Chao Yi in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Chao Yi having to interfere. Deportivo el Divague's Wei Chao Yi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo el Divague from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Juan Sebastián Puig had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 81 minutes, Hermengildo Txanton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo el Divague and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wei Chao Yi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. The Deportivo el Divague support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
