Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Leontin Voinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Leontin Voinescu came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14th play minutes Fabian Gilesindo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Voinescu saved Hope AFC from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Miulescu in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sabin Cartiș tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Miulescu got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Ciocoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. When Fabian Gilesindo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hope AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Gilesindo couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Hope AFC's Vlad Ioanițiu was substituted for Cristo Dimo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sabin Cartiș to strike the kick off in the second half. Sabin Cartiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Hope AFC's goalkeeper Leontin Voinescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Dorin Miulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabin Cartiș took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Beșliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Gilesindo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Hope AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Augustin Ciocoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Cartiș in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Gilesindo in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fabian Gilesindo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Hope AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Gilesindo couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hope AFC the free kick. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Gilesindo in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Cartiș in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Miulescu in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hope AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
