Emil Majtyka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Emil Majtyka tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Majtyka in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Albins Kamrater getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Papi Patel hit a great ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan-Åke Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jan-Åke Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Åke Jönsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 46th minute of play. Pascual Carballar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jan-Åke Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Papi Patel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Albins Kamrater's Ernst Vikström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pascual Carballar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Jönsson having to interfere. Albins Kamrater's Krister Rudkvist was substituted for Ernst Vikström. The corner ended in Viktor Nyström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 68th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Rudkvist in the 70th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krister Rudkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Krister Rudkvist came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Albins Kamrater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krister Rudkvist couldn't finish the play. Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute of play. Albins Kamrater succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Colombia had controlled the match.
