Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustacio Beliran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eustacio Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustacio Beliran saved C.A.JORGOVAN from getting behind. Miguel Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Grigorie didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustacio Beliran saved C.A.JORGOVAN from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Busk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, C.A.JORGOVAN's Mircea Grigorie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. C.A.JORGOVAN made a substitution. Per-Åke Johansson replaced Miguel Lope. C.A.JORGOVAN's Gervasio Bermund was substituted for Gonzalo Hoya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu França in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mircea Grigorie kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Eustacio Beliran made a huge save. After a rather tough play, C.A.JORGOVAN's Anton Busk got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, C.A.JORGOVAN's Eustacio Beliran got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Johansson in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Per-Åke Johansson notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. C.A.JORGOVAN were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
