A collision led to Quien Te iba a Decir..... getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Silvio Francis hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Elpidio Ursino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 12th minute. Elpidio Ursino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Kiepski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Adam Kiepski in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Julian Pepillo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 22nd minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Adam Kiepski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Quien Te iba a Decir..... from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Ursino came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Julian Pepillo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Elpidio Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes in the game Jorge Sainz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Camilo Franco. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Ursino in the 57th minute. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Quien Te iba a Decir..... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Kiepski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adam Kiepski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Quien Te iba a Decir..... getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Israel Shantala hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jaime Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Cazalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Kiepski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A hard shot 82 in the game by Elpidio Ursino from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Adam Kiepski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Severiano Dodorol got a free kick in the 87th minute. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Kiepski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
