Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Van Linthout in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dong Ting Fan was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Ugglan's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dong Ting Fan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Patrik Fagrell made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Sundberg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match BK Ugglan got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dong Ting Fan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Kråk in the 28th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Van Linthout's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When BK Ugglan's Henk Van Linthout in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes BK Ugglan got a freekick which was hit by Emil Nordlander. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, BK Ugglan's Henric Granberg got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Sundberg made a kick off. Henk Van Linthout received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Henk Van Linthout slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thomas Sundberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Sundberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Van Linthout got free with Julio Vera in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Henk Van Linthout recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Henk Van Linthout showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. A collision led to BK Ugglan getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Per Paulin hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, BK Ugglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Wennerlund to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BK Ugglan's Thomas Sundberg got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BK Ugglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, BK Ugglan's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Patrik Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Anselius in the 86th minute of play. BK Ugglan made a substitution. Bror Bruhn replaced Dong Ting Fan. BK Ugglan made a substitution. Olov Skoglund replaced Emil Nordlander. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Fagrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BK Ugglan were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
